Establishment of the Department - Objectives
Establishment of the Department
The establishment of the department dates back to the founding of the Technological University in 1975, with the goal of meeting the needs of academic work by laying the foundations for advancing teaching standards, supplying the university with new academic talents, and enhancing required competencies. This is achieved through the implementation of both short-term and annual scientific plans, involving faculty members and technical staff in training programs and academic missions.
The Department of Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations oversees various important activities and events and sets the procedures associated with them through two active units: the Scientific Affairs Unit and the Cultural Relations Unit.
Objectives
The Department of Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations aims to achieve a set of core objectives, including graduating batches of undergraduate and postgraduate students equipped with the latest knowledge and advanced scientific and cultural skills. The department’s name reflects its two primary goals:
• Advancing the scientific level.
• Promoting the cultural level.
